I would say the Infinitys would be a better sounding setup.

Alpines are good subs but they are better suited for SPL. Infinity on the other hand makes a damn good sounding sub which is ironic as their speakers suck.

However, Im not sold on the Infinity amps and think you should stick with MTX. MTX are awesome amps that make tons of power and have great build quality. Maybe check out the MTX Thunder 1501D.

Those Infinitys are rated at 300 watts RMS which would be 1200 rms total right?

That MTX puts out an underrated 1500 which is well above what those subs can handle. Im not sure if you can get a 2 ohm load with 4 4 ohm DVC subs, that would be 8 individual VC's. Im terrible at figuring out ohm loads with anything more than 2 voice coils! LOL I know you can get a 4 ohm load with 4 4 ohm SVC subs but Im not sure about 4 of em.

Im pretty sure youll like the MTX a lot better. Especially if you were to accidently drop both out a 2nd story window! ;)
