For sale is an excellent condition (8/10 using Audiogon scale) B&K six channel power amp, the AV6000 Series II, release 1999, this unit is 2 1/2 yrs old, I am second owner. A couple of scratches underneath (not visible, of course), faceplate mint, top has three hairline scratches and one side has a scratch, say 4 hairs thick, 1/2 inch long. Sonically and technically perfect working order. Never clipped, don't listen to anything louder than -20db. User manual is still unread.
Six channels is very useful: if you want to bi-amp those main speakers in a 5.1 setup (this was my setup..awesome); if you need that extra channel to drive a passive sub; if you want to move into 6.1 format and need a six channel for the rear center; or just migrate to separates inexpensively with a quality component.
I have used this with some LSi-9s and LSi-7s and it drives these speaks beautifully with its 6x 185watts into 4ohms. Into 8ohms they are 125 watts @ 1 kHz.

Retail $1699, selling it for $600 . That's a Franklin for each 125watts/channel of B&K smooth, dynamic music/movie sound. Have seen similar amp on Ebay for $750-$800.
Is it a good deal? Should hope so as someone just listed its older cousin the AV6000 on Audiogon for $650 and its only 105watts per channel compared to 6x125w on my newer MKII. Fyi link to older av6000
Shipping ground from CA 92120 is extra. Pick-ups ok. Auditions ok.
Oh, I have also two PSW202 subs for sale too. I bought these here from Brett earlier for $150 and will sell for same price, $150 for both. Still "as new" condition and sparingly used. Don't have the boxes so pick-up is preferable. Sold separately I am asking $99/each.
Any takers?
Michael.
NOTE. I HAVE PHOTOS OF AMP...filesize is too big to post here, so ask and ye will receive...via email, that is...
