Sure, MIT has a pair for $15,000.00.Political Correctness'.........defined

well that works my budget was for 15,001 dollars, so its all good. Who in hell would pay tat much for a cable, that is insane, even people with all the money in the world should say, 15g for one pair, lick my balls for tat much.

hmm don't even think peeps paid Heidi Fleish that much for what you're asking !!!

Don't knock what you haven't experienced, to some 15k may seem to be a bargain........they are great cables.Political Correctness'.........defined

so instead of looking at cables which have a 1 to 2, would it be a bad idea to go from the usual 1 to 1 and then just tie a smaller piece at the speaker end, so it would be 1 to 1 + 1. By doing this method do you loose any signal quality, since you have tie a piece of speaker wire to another piece.

I'm not clear on what you're asking, but it doesn't look good. IMHO, forget bi-wiring! Buy the best single runs you can afford and replace the stock jumpers with short pieces of the same cable you buy. There are many, many choices of cable, do a search here or on many of the audio e-stores to find something in your budget.Political Correctness'.........defined

There are plenty out there. I'd suggest just getting another run of whatever you are running and mash one end together. I'd even suggest trying some silver-plated copper wire for the highs (it sucks for lows). Don't go for esoteric speaker wire, check out e-bay. Electricians use this sort of wire for hook-up wires and can be had relatively cheap.
Replacing the jumper is a good idea. Those things suck.
One thing that I did once that worked pretty well was to stip a bare spot about 2" down from the end. I wrapped this around one terminal and then around the other. It made for quite an improvement.Make it Funky! -
I guess what I wanted to do didnt come out very clear. This is what I was planning on doing. Go from the reciever end (1 red 1 black) to the speaker bottom (1 red 1 black) Then from the speaker bottom end tie another smaller piece for the top. My only concern was "meshing or tieing" a smaller piece to a existing cable might affect the sound somehow, but I guess it wont.
But I think ill do what F1nut suggested. Do a regular run, from the reciever to speaker, then replace the jumper with a smaller piece of cable. Now ill see what gives me better sound, just replacing the jumper with the speaker wire, or actually doing the meshing of the wire. -
What you're describing seems to be the same as what I suggested.Political Correctness'.........defined
