I will be the newest SVS owner tomorrow upon arrival of my PCi 20-39. Finally I will have a sub in my system. Couldn't have it before cause i lived in an apt. complex. Know im in a house and its on the way. Can't wait to set up and re watch all the movies i already have. It is going to be a whole new exsperience!!

I have a RS tuner ready so when it gets here i can do all the setup and have a complete day of movie watching.

Can anyone help with directions on how to calabrate my system. Nothing has been calabrated thus far. Or point to another post that will be benifical in the setup in my completed system for NOW!

I will try and let everyone know how everything is going. Unfortunately i will only have one day to listen since i must leave for dallas on saturday to catch a plane sunday to VEGAS.
System:
Reciever - HK AVR225 - last legs
Front- RTiA9s
Center - CSi40
Rear - RTi38's

I assume you are refering to a RS sound pressure meter, right? You will need a cal. disc like AVIA to do it properly. Set your sub to -5 at the reciever (depending on the reciever you have) put the phase on the sub at 0 to start and the gaine at half. Set all speakers to small and start the disc and set the speaker level using the meter for each speaker. First thing is to get a cal. disc and we can go from there when you have everything ready to go.

Congrats on the sub, and let us know when it gets there so we can help.

Are in you in Dallas area? I might be able to help you out next week.

If you can't wait, take a look at what SVS-Ron has to say in this thread:

I will be in dallas this week actually but won't have the sub because it is going to stay at school.

If you want to stop by, I can show how it is done and I can give you a calibration DVD. Or you can pick one up, they are not that expensive and the calibration is quite simple.
