Trouble in HDTV paradise

After having my Toshiba for Two months now, with perfect convergence settings and the most amazing picture quality I have ever seen, my GREEN convergence just went totally out of wack. Off the charts!!!
I only have settings for the blue and red. The manual reads: to set the green over lap with red & blue and it will adjust the standard convergence points. Instead I get a TEAL color on the convergence set screens.
Green hues and unfocused picture. I can bearly even read the TV menu screens.
*) Called Tosh: Unplug for 3 minutes for reset, if not get a repairmen.
No workie.
*)Called place of purchase and they do not have a repairmen in my area - said to call Tosh under inital warrenty.
*)Going to call Tosh tomorrow to see if they can get me a repairmen.
I am totally bummed..........
Hope my PB2+ did not vibrate something silly...
Any thoughts - consoleing - advice????

The same thing happened to a Sony I used to have.
From what I understand, there is a stack of pots used to "ballpark" convergence. On mine, one of the caps that leads to these adjustments went bad and had to be replaced. The symptoms you describe are identical.
That unit was done in by my "stack" of Velodyne's (2 12"s and 2 15"s). They broke off the mirror.Go BIG or go home! -

Called Tosh today and they have a local repairmen for warrenty work. Just need to find that reciept.

I am curious, don't leave me hanging. What happened? Does your set work now? What was the problem?
