I've got yet another SDA speaker question.

Every picture I've ever seen of SDA speakers set up in someones house shows the speakers sitting right up against the wall behind them. Why?

Everything I've read about speaker placement says to keep speakers at least 2 feet away from the surrounding walls. Are SDA speakers designed to be placed against the front wall, or is it just coincidence?

Due to the nature of SDA technology the speakers are never toed-in, but kept parallel to the back wall. You can place them "out" in the room if you wish, but you'll get better sound with better bass when placed close to the wall and at least 3 feet from any side wall.

    Hi,

Here's an other thread which you may find interesting.

    SDA-1C placement for best soundstage?

I was just looking at the Owner's Manual for my SDA CRS+s. They are designed to be placed up to 1-1/2" from the wall.
