I was browsing the Sunday add at Circuit City's website, and I saw "Hidalgo" as the Tuesday release. Has anyone seen this movie yet? How would you rate it? I don't know anything about it. Help me out!

I would say that the movie is OK. For its length, it kept me interested and had some interesting charactors and developments but I will wait a long while before watching it again.

    Probably a renter.

I thought about picking this one up blind today but decided it's better off as a rental.

Well that settles it for me. This may not be on the shelf for a while.

Can't find much anywhere about this apparent dud. I'll probably rent it.......

I'm on the fence. I might just add it to the collection.

I saw it in the theater and was surprised. It was very Indiana Jones-esque in the action sequences. It was a cool story too and the cinematography was pretty good too.

I wasn't giving it a chance either but a friend wanted to see it and paid for my ticket so he had someone to go with. I went in expecting boring crap but was delightfully entertained! It was long though.

I'd recommend seeing it 'cause it's a pretty well done action/adventure based on a true story. The acting was better than I thought it would be too.

Bought it yesterday and watched it last night. Very well done. The cinematography is stunning the story is decent enough to keep you entertained and the acting is good (other then Viggos mumbling).

My friend said pretty much the same thing. I guess I would rather get it for $15.99 than $19.99, so I will probably get it when I go to lunch or after I get off of work today. Thanks fellas.

"True" story, if you catch my drift. It's funny how "Frank Hopkins" is basically the only one who knows this story :D

I will pick it up, as it can't possibly be any worse than some of the other titles in my collection.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

IMO - definately a renter, unless you like to buy crap. Save your money for another movie. Some of the shots are cheesy, esp in the gun battle scene he is running along the top of the buildings, the background looked way fake. storyline is very weak with to many holes. I would compare this to The League of Extraordinary Gentleman, which I was way disappointed with.
