no bass

I am running 2 12" polk momo's with the eclipse 1100 watt amp set to low pass with subsonic filter, and i am not hitting hard at all it sounds like my subs are just farting or something??? i am running 1/0 guage wire with an ohio generator 200 amp alternator helping to pump out the power...the reason why i am running knott guage is becuase in a week or 2 when my box is done i will have 4 12" polk momo's with 2 of the 1100watt amps. can anyone tell me why i am not hitting hard at all??? please i miss my bass

i am using the same box that i used when i had my system in my firebird, it worked great in the firebird i just dont understand what i am doing that makes it not hit at all

each vehicle has a differnent resinatiing point... what works for one car and sound great...may not work for another. thats why a box needs ot be not only designed for the sub but the vehicle itself.. you say the sub worked fine in your fire bird.. what vehicle now?

Are your settings in the deck fubared? (better decks have sub controls)
Do you have another amp to test?
Are you using the amp bridged? If so, try one channel only, or vise-versa....

I just bought my headunit a week ago, its an alpine with bass engine pro, i do have another eclipse amp to test but it would be a pain to unscrew the amp and put a new amp in just becuase i have the amps flipped over with the back taken off wiith plxi-glass covering them. and they are in custom woood enclousures with fans and covered in vinyl to match the leather. i am going to bridge the subs this weekend once i get my ohio generator 200-amp alternator in that has just been holding my door open for the past month.
