Don't know anything about truntables so I'm looking for some knowledge.

Does anyone know anything about these and if that is a good deal or not:

Dual 1009 turntable wood finish rebuilt to 1950's specs (specially adapted for 78 records) - $40
ELAC Miracord 10 Benjamin Studio turntable rebuilt to 1950's specs - $50

Any help appreciated.

Here's the Dual Classics site with info on the 1009
Seems to have been in production from 1964-66.

They both have some serious potential. I would snag that ELAC in a heartbeat. Then again I already have a Dual that I'm happy with.:)
