German video, I think, of various cars attempting top speed....

300km/hour was the slowest car here....Audi A8. Fastest was at 350km/hour.....that's about 217 miles per hour!!

The fastest I've ever driven/ridden was on my 2000 YZF-600R Yamaha sportbike. The throttle was pegged and I was doing an "indicated" 163mph, given your typical error on a speedo for motorcycles of 7%, I was probably doing 150mph "actual."

It is pretty cool. Bike was steady as a brick building.

Fastest I've been was a hair over 100mph in my old '94 Plymouth Voyager. Downhill on a still night, obviously. My new truck is limited to 93mph :(

Fastest I've ever ridden was in a 1973 Trans Am SD-455 - Bright Red with the "Screaming Chicken" on the hood. Back in the day as the car had less than 2000 mi. on the odometer. Driver said 150.

My decased friend had a 1992 Porsche 911 Turbo. He said we were going about 150 back in 2001.

The fastest I've personally driven is 137 in a 1993 Mustang Cobra.

haha, seein' how I'm 16, I've only gone about 70. However, I'll post for my dad here and say that he's been 136 in his practically stock '63 Impalla. I bet he went a good bit faster in his '55 chevy, though.

You gotta love driving in Germany... our daughter took this picture last June while we were cruising between Stuttgart and Wurzburg in a new VW Phaeton. 220 km/h translates to 136 mph for you metrically challenged folks ;)

There was a lot of traffic, so we really couldn't max the car out. We did have some stretches where we could cruise at 110-115 for minutes at a time. Good fun!

Some day I'll drive a Ferrari over there...

    140 in a '99 Bimmer.

136 avg speed in a 600hp car at the Kansas Speedway. Nothing like driving your own personal roller coaster.

115 on my Harley and the same happened to me. Got handcuffed and guarded by a K-9 in the back seat because he thought I stole the bike. Long story......

    190 MPH (indicated) on a Kawasaki ZX12-R.
At about 145 or so, the dashed-white line on the Hwy becomes solid. BTW, the bike was still going strong (pulling). I just chickened out before I got it topped out.

Let's see i had a 1979 RX-7 that the speedo went to 130 on, and i was passing my friend going 145 in his 91 Diamante :p . Then i had an '88 RX-7 Turbo II that governed out at 134, and now i have a 2000 Impreza RS that i've taken to about 130. That's just my cars, though, lol i used to work at car dealerships and got to drive all sorts of fast cars. The fastest out of them was probably a Firebird LT-1 that i took to about 160 in high 4th gear out of 6 :D. other than that nothin insanely fast, drove recklesly in a Mustang Cobra R, a 350Z, MR-2 Spyder, GTI VR6, BMW 3 series, and a Celica GTS (which was a horribly disappointing car).

well that's my extent of driving hehe, i've surprisingly never been arrested or pulled over for speeding, only been in 1 wreck (which won't show up on my record cause it was a dealership car, and the ticket was dropped), and probably most surpisingly was never fired from any dealership, lol.
