I want an AMP

i have 2 big big 24 year old Cerwin Vega speakers with 15 inch subs in them. And i want to get an amp for them. They can hold a good 400-500 watts for so. I don't want to spend a lot but i want to get a good one. I want to spend like $200-300.:D Does anyone want to sell??????? Can anyone tell me where i can get one for a cheap price, iam already looking at pown shops.:)

    First, the 15" drivers are not "subs", they are woofers. Second, they don't hold watts, they are rated. Third, do you have a pre amp or receiver with pre outs? Fourth, it's a pawn shop.

    Now, to try and answer your question, for that amount of money look at something like Adcom on eBay.

    Also look for used Audiosource Amp 3.

    Buster,

    in your price range.. do what F1 said.. and look at Adcom amps.. you'll get the most for your money. In your price range.. i think about the best you could so is prob a stereo amp in the neighborhood of say 125 to 150 watts per channel. For $200 - $300 i doubt you could find an amp with 400wpc.
