how would i wire 2 single voice coil subs in series??my amp puts out 200x2 at 4ohh and 300x2at 2 ohm.the guy on crutchfield said i would have to wire the subs in a series to get 150 watts to each sub so i dont blow them.

    If Im understanding you correctly, your amp puts out 300x1 at 4 ohms bridged mono. If this is right then the only way you can run 2 subs and get a 4 ohm load is if they are both 8 ohm subs.

    Im currently running a pair of 8 ohm JL Audio 8s and I have them wired in series running off my Crossfire 2 channel and Im running a 4 ohm load.

    If your subs are 4 ohm and you wire them in series it will present an 8 ohm load to your amp and youll only be getting 150x1 which would be 75x2.

    What kind of subs and amp are you running?
