The best place to put my Outlaw M200 that is driving my CSi40 center channel speaker is directly behind the center channel speaker. Will having the Outlaw amp sit within inches of the back of the CSi40 cause any problems? This will still let me use a 3' bluejeancables.com interconnect with my HTR receiver.

It shouldn't. I have a Parasound monoblock right behind my CS400 on top of my Mitsu and have never had any type of problems - I'm assuming you mean humming, buzzing, or any other type of audio interference - and it's been set up like this for 2 years. Aesthetically, the speaker even helps hide the amp from sight (from most locations in the room). Another plus is you get to use a real short run of speaker wire from the amp to the CS, which is always good - you could probably even afford a short run of a very high-end wire for your CS in this set-up, if that's your "thing". -Dave-
