CS 350 on audiogon
I have one, excellent. There was another member, quickr1, who I think had one up a while ago...
Rear center??? -
No ... center for LS90's which are in standalone 2 channel now but I want to migrate them to a second HT/ 2 Channel setup in Master B/R.
Thanks ... I know about that one and he lives a few miles away but the sale is pending on it ... -
I'll keep an eye out...
Thanks for the HU on the manual. I got it, just what the Dr. ordered... -

Scornful,
You have PM ... -
I didn't like the sound of the 350....I listened to one of those when I was shopping for a mammoth center and ended up with the cs1000p.
The 350 sounded really muffled to me......I forget what equipment the shop had it all hooked up to when I was listening to it though.....comment comment comment comment. bitchy. -
Brett,
I'll have to play with it ... If it doesn't do what I want I'll resell it but it's what should mate best with the LS90's and this is in a secondary location any way ... -
Personally, I don't put a whole lot of stock into the "all speakers from the same line" ideology.
For a while I was running the RT16's (circa '96) with my cs1000p (circa 2003ish) and had ZERO problems.
As a quick note, Polk recommends the cs1000 for the LS90's, but doesn't even mention the 350 HERE.comment comment comment comment. bitchy. -
Thanks for the heads up ... the 1000p is probably overkill for where I'd be using it, but I'll keep it in mind
-
Overkill, perhaps.....
But a thing of beauty....comment comment comment comment. bitchy. -
I had the CS1000p and a CS400i for awhile and I tested them side by side and I couldnt really tell a difference between them.So I sold the Cs1000p put the money towards more power and kept the CS400i.:rolleyes:Old School stuff

I've heard the 1000p and it's a fine center but it's too big for the MBR set up ... as far as overall performance goes I still prefer the SRT center ...

Scornful ? ... hmmm ...
