RTi vs. monitor
what are the differences in the new montior series compaired with the RTi bookshelves. I know the RTi's have a better listed frequency response, but those are just numbers. I wanted to get RTi's but i have been out of town for 2 weeks and it seems like i missed all the fire sales

Search down the front page of this board for my thoughts on the Monitor speakers. They haven't really changed since my initial impressions. They are bright and foward speakers and I'd definitely call them harsh when turned up too loudly (i.e. my normal listening level) However, people in general have seemed to like them in comparison to the Bose crap I'm forced to sell, and the Beta 20's (which because the RTI's are gone, have become my new favorite bookshelf, most customers don't look at them because they're 200 dollars while the monitor 20's are a hundred dollars).
