the yamaha rx-v1 is going to be replaced by the yamaha rx-z1 the yamaha rx-v1 has a duell 44 bit prossceser its is the best prossceser on the planet right now all the 2nd. best are 32bits the new rx-z1 that are replaceing the rx-v1 have 32 bits prosscesers so if you whant the best you better hunt them down now before there all gone. wend muti-channel autio gets going thats muti-sacd & dvd-autio, that 44 bit prossceser will be the ultimate. the rx-v1 has 8 channels ,2 mains, 2 surounds,1 front center, 1 rear center, 2 front effects. plus 3 lfe sub outs. you will problely use witch i do the enhanced mold in dolby digital ex,or dts es will be all 8 channels , the yamaha goes with polks real good

Got one. Love it.
Rumour is: they are coming out with another model
that will have the 44bit processor. It will be "audiophile" (read as expensive as #!*).
So like Joe says...get 'em now.
