Anoyone got a decent pre they want to get rid of. Got a Adcom GFA 545 on da cheap so wanna do seperates. Let me know

    How about a brand new Parasound PHP-850 for $249? See Audio Advisor....heck of a preamp for cheap $$$$

    Thanks Steve but little out of my range at the moment...Taking baby steps on the seperates for the 2 chnl rig :) Tax time is a diff story:)

    Any interest in a seperate tuner?

    I have a Sansui T-9 you can have for a good price...

    needs a wire antenna (I just used speaker wire, worked fine)

    well i had thought of doing all seperates...whats the condition..can you snap me a pic..(the best that you can)? i might venture down this ave of going all seperates...even though russ has a nice adcom pre with am/fm. Grrrr Decisions.

    Pretty good condition -- actually almost mint...

    If you have some metal polish, the looks could echo that of B&K gear...

    either way is a great start to separates, I have changed a ton of stuff in my 2 channel, now have a tuner, pre and amp, cd player... My adcoms tuner doesnt work is why i have the tuner, but oh well... looks cool and adds the vintage look along with the tubey amp... what ya got on that adcom pre? I like mine.... youve seem it,

    Checked in at the pawn shop, they do have a adcom pre w/am-fm tuner for 50 bucks, let me know if you are interested in it.

    You guys **** and moan about not being able to find 'deals', and you leave an Adcom tuna / pre at a pawnshop for $50? (assuming its working and clean)

    I bet they'd take $35 for it. EASY Franklin in your pocket on the bay.

    GTP 400 Arrived today, arrived Russman Atomic Blast Style :) Sounds great, no more Snap, Crackle Pop Boys and the Tuner works great :).....Thanks again Mike....Hope to add the 545 to this puppy if nobody scoops it up by months end.

    Anytime, I was up in the Tri City area last year to visit my cousin but they moved to Boone NC..Not too far off the path. Will probably be up there in Sept. Might hit you up for a Sixer and a Demo :)
