DB Drive Subwoofers

Any comment about DB Drive sub's?
I'm going to try (2) PL10D4 sub's platinum series.
They are 750W RMS ea. double 4 ohms coil.
$153.00 ea. 10"

    I dont know too much about them. As far as I know they are in the low-mid range. I would group them with Pioneer or Lanzar.

    Ive never heard one so I cant speak to their performance.

    you would put pioneer with lanzar?? what aboot pioneer premier? cause the pair that i've heard sounded pretty damn good...

    Dont get me wrong, Im not knocking Pioneer in ANY way. Pioneer makes about the best head units you can get. Their amps and speakers though I would consider low-mid grade and thats about where I would put Lanzar as well. Lanzar aint crappy stuff, depsite their cheeseball name.

    fair enough... lanzar has a mediocre rep here at best, but i can't say i've ever experienced any of their stuff...

    Am i nuts, or does the outside edge and surround of that thing look like a Polk DB copy? (just the front)
    All in all they look ok, though I might have to ink out the GIANT white lettering.
