Anyone seen this movie yet? Critics ridiculed the movie long before it was released. Just wondering if it deserved all of the verbal abuse.

How about CATWOMAN!!!!;)
RottonTomatoes destroyed it but that site is hit and miss. I'm not running out to see it. May be worth a rental..... -
Worst. Actress. Ever (Nice Knick Knacks though....)

HOLY IMPURRFECTION, BATMAN.
I meant "Catwoman".
OK, but is the SQ any good? That's just as important to me nowadays as the plot, storyline and acting. Besides, I don't expect Halle to outperform Eartha Kitt and the other sexy lady who played the first felonious felines. They were awesomely talented in their roles, BTW.HT/2-channel Rig: Sony 50 LCD TV; Toshiba HD-A2 DVD player; Emotiva LMC-1 pre/pro; Rogue Audio M-120 monoblocks (modded); Placette RVC; Emotiva LPA-1 amp; Bada HD-22 tube CDP (modded); VMPS Tower II SE (fronts); DIY Clearwave Dynamic 4CC (center); Wharfedale Opus Tri-Surrounds (rear); and VMPS 215 sub

It is 100% pure Hollywood vehicle for the star attraction....pathetic.
Halle Berry is to Catwoman as Elizabeth Berkely is to Showgirls.
The SQ/PQ couldn't save this movie from me stuffing it in my own ****.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint. -
Opening weekend, 17 million, came in third place:D
This has cat **** all over it. No chance I'll ever borrow this one and waste 2 hours of my life.
Berry cannot act!If...

OK, back to the original question. Just looking for comments from people who have actually seen the movie.HT/2-channel Rig: Sony 50 LCD TV; Toshiba HD-A2 DVD player; Emotiva LMC-1 pre/pro; Rogue Audio M-120 monoblocks (modded); Placette RVC; Emotiva LPA-1 amp; Bada HD-22 tube CDP (modded); VMPS Tower II SE (fronts); DIY Clearwave Dynamic 4CC (center); Wharfedale Opus Tri-Surrounds (rear); and VMPS 215 sub

I saw it last night
It started off EXTREMELY slow
Halle Berry is working for a man who is selling a beauty cream that has bad long term effects but no one knows except him, his wife, a few other nameless people, and Halle Berry walks in on them talking about it, ends up dying and being reborn as Catwoman
she is dating a police officer who figures out that she is Catwoman and people are pinning different crimes on her
the plot was...
well...there wasnt one
the movie, IMHO, was a 4 out of 10
some cool special effects and the fact the Halle Berry looks good in leather is about the only ups to this movie
i wouldve been disappointed if i wouldve paid 7.25 for a ticket
overall, thumbs down
