I was looking at all my extra "toys" in the basement and have no idea where it all came from. I will list it all later. What do you have in the closets, garage, basement etc? Why are you holding on to it? Maybe we can find something from each other that we really need. Thanks, Jeff

    Dude.

I mean DUDE. There is NO effin way. Let me have a few more beers, then maybe I'll get the clipboard out, and go through EVERY room of the house.

I can guarantee one thing, I'm NOT listing tubes.

    Cheers,

    Not too hard for me.

    Pioneer SX-450 receiver. 15watt/ch
Marantz 2220B receiver (is awaiting the time for me to work on it. Needs some TLC
    EPI M50 bookshelf speakers

I would never get rid of the Marantz or the EPI speaks. They were a gift from my GF. The Pioneer I saved from the trash at school one day. Works fine; the music teacher just didn't know what it was but knew it was old and she had never used it. *yoink*

aiwa av657 receiver - rated at 70 watts per but probably more like 10
yammaha 3 way bookshelves that i dont wanna look the model number up for...nc sumthin

had an old nakamichi tape deck with a fried motor but the parental uint threw it away...i didnt care, who listens to tapes anyway.

an old dual turn table in need of some new rca cable outs, hummed on my dad's luxman (most likely a groupd loop problem) because on my aiwa receiver there was no hum.

Oh Yeah I forgot about that! The guy that was going to buy it (HTF member) seemed to fall of the face of the planet. Lot's of emails sent to the guy but no responses.

Yep, $200 + freight is the price.

Here's a link to the original sale in the flea market.

One rig even has 3 sets of speakers (stereo only) connected that I swap around from time to time depending on my mood. :D

I do have a 5.1 receiver collecting dust but I'll hold onto it since it has one of those remote control things that the wife is so fond of.

Doro....are those speaks that I brought still sitting in Jesse's basement?? LOL!

Actually, I purged a good amount of gear, especially speakers over the last few months (I'm having sellers remorse over a couple of them though)

    I've got sitting idle:

    Carver m400a amp
    Carver m200t amp
    Audiosource 5.1 monoblock
    ADC 16/2 cd player
    Carver C-16 preamp
    Dynaco PAT-4 preamp
    Onkyo P-3200 preamp
    Onkyo M-501 amp

Upon my return, I'll have a Denon 1801 receiver in the closet (however, I believe this is spoken for)

I also have a rig set up at my sisters place that I keep gear and currently she is using the Fish integrated and a pair of AR-3a's.

Shoot, you could FILL a UHaul full of gear at George's and the only dent you would notice is when George dented your brain bucket with a Louisville Slugger.

I picked up the PAT-4 from gidrah last winter, nice preamp. Oh, it's a SS preamp, not tubes.

Yep, those speakers are still here and last night a water pipe popped a pinhole leak which sprayed in the general direction of the boxes. The only damage was to the bottom of one box that got wet, the speaker stayed dry.

    Think I'll have a flood sale! :D

Not being used? Buncha car auio stuff. I'd list it but none of you would know what I was talking about. Just think of George's piles of home audio but it's car audio. Only difference is, I've owned it all since it was new.

The DQ's left the building, but $50.00 for the RTA 12's sound good. ;)

No, it's not. You haven't seen my pile. I have about 30 pairs of speakers and around 12 subwoofers just sitting around at various places in my house. There is also a whole pile of amplifiers, 6 or 7 head units and even a couple of active crossover networks. I have rolls of wire of all sizes and types and even enclosures just sitting around. I should actually start inloading it but I can't bring myself to do so. Never know when I'm gonna need it.

My stuff just doesn't take up as much room because it doesn't have enclosures with it. It's mostly in cardboard boxes, slid out of teh way, under various beds or stacked in the garage or attic.

What I mean is that some of us home audio guys would know a little about car audio, too. I've done a couple of car stereo installations in my few short years and would probably recognize most of what you would be talking about... I didn't mean that you don't have much stuff.... just that you thought we wouldn't know anything about it...
