Forum Help - Mods!?!?

This is getting mildy annoying - everytime I go to post a reply that is a little lengthy, my login times out and I have to login again. This wipes out everything I just typed.

In my profile I have browse board with cookies checked to yes, why is this happening?

I wind up not posting because I dont feel like retyping (and remembering) everything I had just wrote.

What's the deal?

    That's odd, I've NEVER had this happen to me before. Sounds like you have a problem with your browser dropping the cookies, or not accepting them.

    That's what I initially thought, but it happened on 3 different machines, 2 at home and 1 at work (shame on me).
    Unless your cookies are not being returned to the original sender, because I have my machines running on Medium High privacy.

    What's weird is it only happens while tryng to post a long reply or new thread - while browsing through the forums it still appears that I am logged in.

    Maybe I just have gremlins!

    That is your internet connection, not the forum. If you don't move around the forum (or any other internet site) and your service is set up to time out that is what it will do. Typing won't keep it alive.

    To get around it hit Back then Fwd once in a while.
