Actually these were found by my dad about a week ago at a local pawnshop. He grabbed up a pair of eosone rsf1000 for 48 bucks, they have had it a bit on the rough side but are very serviceable. The first issue I had was one midbass not working in the left tower, but I have since found a cold solder joint that was causing the problem and repaired it.

My other issue is the right tower sub amp is coming on and I can verify that the amp stage IS working but when it is fed either one of the input options it will not produce anything. You can touch the end of the rca connected to it and produce a ground loop hum but that is about it. Guess it will have to go to the shop for repair. Only other issues are the gloss tops are missing and the left grill will have to be redone.

Other than that these are nothing short of amazing, even with just one sub working the bass is just incredible. They have a listed response to 25 hz and the soundstage is very close to on par with my tl's very smooth and detailed( my tl's have gone to be with dad at his abode). They stand at about the same height as a pair of srs 2's but are only about 13 inches wide and are a bipolar design. I am thinking about bringing them with to the east coast gathering for us to play with.

According to ken these were a cooperative effort between polk audio and best buy and were designed by arnie nudell (designed infinity speakers ), they were built by polk and then sold at best buy as their house brand speaker line, crutchfield also picked up and carried the line for a bit as well. If any of you come across some that could be used for parts please let me know. Here is a couple of pics of one of them.
"Its worked so far but we're not out yet."
"Hey big man let me hold a dollar"
