guys i know ive asked a lot of questions bout this amp already but i promise this'll be the last one...recently i asked about how to connect 2 subs to the c500.1 and the answer i got was the amp runs at 2ohm and the subs would be 250x2 now the problem is...is that still the case with a DVC subwoofer in particular the Bazooka P. MILLER Signature Series Dual 4 ohm 12 inch (RSW1224DVC-PM) http://www.bazooka.com/productAutoRawWoofersRS.asp?id=212
thiers a downloadable pdf file that gives more info. oh yea i wanna run two subs. thanx a lot guys

if they are dual 4 ohm coils...you would have to wire them at 4 ohms
i dont think the polk is capable of a 1 ohm load

just wanna know is thier neway to hook up the system so i get 250x2 with the DVC subs cause the subs can handle 300rms so it wouldnt be fair to them if they only get 150 i was thinking wouldn't that be possible if i connect in series?

If you want to hook up 2, dual voice coil subs and get a 2 ohm load the only way to do it is to get one with dual 2 ohm coils and wire them in series. This will be a 4 ohm load per sub, hence 2 ohm total load and, voila, 250x2! ;)

wire the voice coils in series and hook it up to the amp
that will give you a 2 ohm load and give you 500 watts to the sub
