Yep.
If they were the two sets I sent you then it was two matched pair but not matched to each other. No biggie, you try, you swap, then you happy.
Did you use the rectifier tube in question?Vinyl, the final frontier...

Actually we were like "Damn, that amp is going to kill faster".
It should jump all over the place when playing music. I tried my Jolida with the LSi15's and couldn't get it loud enough to enjoy. On the other hand the SDA 1.2's are VERY loud with it. You may end up with different speakers by the time this is over.

It got much better and powerful as it warmed up.. The Rt25i's sound good... I think i'll pull out the 38's from the box and hook them up.. what a mess out here.. amps, speakers.. tubes and lots of fun today!!!
I have to thank Madmax for sending me the tubes asap.. Payment is on the way!!
and To Organ for his contribution to my tube needs.. when they get here... Thanks guys for helping me.. if not for this forum i would have never wanted tubes much less knew how to fire it up if i did find the amp...
This amp is sweet and clean, what can i say for under 300 bucks im in business with a popular tube amp rig!!! I'm happyMY HT RIG:

Are you using the 3960 with it? When I play mine I always turn it on, do something else for an hour and then listen.Vinyl, the final frontier...

I think it'll sound good with the 38's.SDA-2a, Anthem Pre-2L, Anthem Amp 1, MF A324 DAC, Rotel RCD1070

LMAO:D:D Yeah, I think the amp will kill you instead of you killing the amp:). Mine caused me A LOT of stress whenever something went wrong but after fixing it and upgrading parts, the experience is the most rewarding. The ST-70 is the best sounding amp I've ever heard.
Unpack those 38's and enjoy.
You can completely change the sound of the amp by converting it to triode. All you have to do is solder four resistors and unhook four wires. You'll be down to about 12w/ch but it sounds much better IMO. Not sure if that's enough for your RT's but it's worth a try. If it's not enough juice, get some Klipsch;).
Glad to hear you're enjoying it. So for the first time you can say the RT sounds better than LSi, eh? lol

Indeed, I think it makes these 25i's sound similiar to the lsi7's... It sounds good... I think i'll leave as is for now.. Thanks again for all the helpMY HT RIG:
