OK, so here we go:

**$160 +shipping. No Paypal, M/O only
*Prefer local, SF Bay buyer who can audition these in person, but I will ship CONUS.
*eBay references under UserID Ballylongford (eBay member since 1997)*
*VERY exotic rosewood finish
*Cosmetic condition; not perfect; some scratches, one corner nick. I am gonna rate them a 7/10 but I believe any fair observer would have to truthfully rate them an 8 or a 9
*Beautiful Rosewood finish
*I have the original boxes, which are in fair condition, but are the best packaging to ship these in
* Boxes are stamped "New" & "Improved" "silver dome tweeters", etc.
*These have the SL2000 tweeters
*I want to emphasize I welcome local buyers to audition these before purchase; this gives the buyer the best opportunity to evaluate the speakers prior to purchase
*I can provide pics if there is interest.

Thanks for reading

    Hi:

Thanks for the welcome, and thanks for your interest in the 10Bs!

I will try to get pics up by Friday, 07/23

    Please check back!

    BTW:
I have a pair of PolkStands I MAY be willing to sell WITH the speakers, if I get a good offer.
Don't have the factory shipping boxes for the stands so I am hesitant to include them in the deal.
(Not interested in selling the stands separate from the speakers, just to let everybody know)

    Thanks Again

It should be stated that it must be a Rosewood vinyl finish, and I wouldn't exactly call it very exotic, although it would be a nice change from Oak or Walnut.

Original packaging and stands would be a nice bonus.

Russman/TroyD - Did Polk make a Rosewood veneer or vinyl?

I'm not aware of Polk doing anything Rosewood, vinyl or veneer, period.

    Cheers,
    Russ

Some of the walnut Polk used had a wild grain pattern that could look like rosewood to the untrained eye.

    Hi:

    Thanks for the interest.

As noted, these are unique finish; yes they are Rosewood Vinyl (worth noting, Thanks) but they ARE rosewood vinyl, not walnut, etc.

The boxes are even stamped Rosewood

According to the Polk Folk these speakers came in one of 3 finishes: the most common (in my experience) vinyl walnut,
a real walnut veneer, and this rosewood vinyl on these

Pics should be up tomorrow when I get home from the Gilroy Garlic festival !

You forgot about the Oak vinyl veneer :)

It must be the time of the year for Rosewood, because I just picked up a MINT pair of Monitor 10's with original stands today...and guess what finish is stamped on the box?

Freakin' Rosewood...now that's some funny stuff. It says "New! Rosewood Vinyl" :D

Could it be a conspiracy on the part of the walnut trees?
