They are some common brand with the best ones branded "Ruby" tubes. I have never been too impressed with what I've read but then again, I cannot remember who makes them. If you have ever seen the "golden dragon" ones for some stupid price they are the best Shaguang tubes rebranded. There are only a few companies that make tubes. All the other ones just offer some matching services and have them re-branded for a huge amount.

Ruby tubes are just re-branded tubes like SED, EH, etc. They do more testing, burn-in and everything for better reliability, and then they put on the Ruby stamp. They're overpriced IMO. I've never had a problem with tubes from thetubestore.com.

DON'T buy the Ruby. The reason is your ST-70 use four MATCHED EL34 tubes. The ones you're getting from me are matched quad of 30mA plate current with 5% tolerance. Never mix tubes if they're not matched.
