What's the best way to apply heat to this stuff? I am using the heat shrink that bluejeancables.com sent with my banana and spade connectors.

I just use a lighter, keep it at a safe distance, where it just barely has an effect on the plastic.

Hair dryer is best in-lieu of a heat gun.

Setting the small buriner of an electric stove on about #7 and holding the connector with heat shrink over it worked great!

Agreed. I've used a soldering iron and a lighter before, but a heat gun (or that heat gun equivalent for hair) seemed to work best for me.

Heat gun, hair dryer, I've even done rotating it like a rotissery (sp) infront of a 500 watt halogen work light.

I dont like touching with a soldering iron it always tends to melt on me haha.
