Any one else fed up w/cable prices???

Out here in SoCal we noticed a while back that Adlephia Cable has been working on improving their services and a notice said that our rates would be going up, yet again!
Well we just got our bill in the mail today and the rate went up about $20 !!!! So it's something like $40 for your basic cable pakage and another $40 to have digital (you have to have digital to get the movie channels) and two movie channels like HBO and Cinamax...
I just checked Direct TV and their prices went up as well. You have to get the Total Choice Premire package if you want HBO and Cinemax at $90/month...insane!

the problem is a few channels wagot a 40% increase in price for their servis. we just got 60 a monyh for high speed and hi def cable comcrap the pq is not as god as voom but the price and the channels we dident get from voom makes up for it

Yeah, we got fed up and did something about it. We are saving nearly $30/month and we are only getting the secret basic basic cable. Shove it up your **** Comcast.

Damn, they are starting at Keller, TX. I am closing on a house there next month and was wondering what internet service is available.
Just got off the phone with a Verizon rep, the service is on trial and should be available to the public in couple months. We all know what couple months means so maybe by the end of next year... -
