I just wanted to post a real short review for this disc because it is phenomenal, and I wanted to give the heads-up to all my fellow Polk Forum members. This disc is dedicated to Julie London and it is a very smooth sounding jazz disc. But in 5.1 it is awesome. Jacintha's voice is so smooth and beautiful, and it is centered in the center channel speaker with the other instruments placed in a very natural 3-d space around her. The bass from the sub is totally pounding, but in a natural way that gives the instruments the lower register and timbre that is naturally present. Jacintha's version of GOD BLESS THE CHILD is a real tear jerker, and it will leave you with a lump in your thoat. All-in-all, this disc has some very moving pieces, and it will make you feel involved with the music. You must hear Jacintha's version of CRY ME A RIVER, this track alone is worth the price of admission.

    Hey Rocky,

I have Jacintha's "LUSH LIFE" SACD and I must agree with you. The sound quality, and presentation in multi-channel is very good.
It almost places you in a jazz club setting. In the round sorta. I like that. Some SADC's place a different instrument in each channel. Lush Life just simply opens up the sound to create a whole room experience. Good listening indeed...
