I currently have a psw 303 in a 12-14 bedroom, I sit about six feet away from it. J&R has the velodyne cht-12 for 258 shipped, should i do it, or save the money and spring for an svs?

Hey, for the money, the Velodyne is hard to beat. Sure, and SVS would be better, but you can always sell the Vel down the road when you're ready for the SVS. I used to have the CHT-8, and thought it was a very good sub. And I paid $300 for it then. So, for $258, the 12 is a steal. I'd go for it.
