Brian - Nice choice, it's a solid amplifier.

Scornful - Acurus is another nice choice, pick it up.

Excellent, I'm glad you received it ok. That was best packing job I've done yet. Just hope UPS was gentle on it.

Brian - If you do not like that amp, you are insane. ;)

I have read John Curl and Bob Crump remark at how novice audiophiles always comment on how much bass and strength they(Parasound) have in the low end....when it's simply a matter of design. I think they are actually poking fun of the common guy in a way, since the gear, and music is so much more than just bass. It is almost a trademark that 1995+ Parasound amps are "dark" or heavy in the low end, and that amp is no exception.

At that level, it's more an analytical ear and not so much a cool factor in design and "voicing" of gear. All the better for us, as we are simply the cattle in a way. It took me many years to find high fidelity, in every sense of the word....and it all began with Polk Audio SDA's....Sony ES....and F1Nut.

Rock on, screw the children, school them NOW! ;)

After listening to the parasound for a few days now, it is really a powerful sounding amp, not because it can play loud because it can but it makes the music sound full and powerful even at moderate levels. Wow!!! was missing so much before well back to the tunes, no regrets here at all.

Doro, almost forgot about your offer of the manual, sorry about that, will send you an e-mail with mailing adress. Thanks again
