I picked up a late 60's early 70's model tandem Huffy Sunnyday rider bicycle from my brother while helping him move. Cant find anything on the web about its value, anyone want to buy it.

    Hi Scott,
I know a little about bicycles, but mostly about more recent ones. Anyway, I Googled up this link:

    Sunnyday Girls Tandem

Seems the value could be around $300. There is a 1964 Huffy tandem, but different model, on Ebay right now with bidding ending tomorrow. Looks like it may sell for around $300 too.

Value obviously depends on the condition. Also, how many speeds it has will effect the value. If it's in good shape, there's no reason why it wouldn't be worth a couple hundred.

Check the frame for rust or weak welds, check the wheels for bent spokes or damage to the rim itself. Check the chain for weak links or seized joints. Make sure that it goes through the gears and that the deraillures are operational. Check the cables that activate the deraillures and the brakes and make sure they aren't stretched..... etc etc.
    Ludicrous gibs!

Thats the exact bike as the one I have. It needs some TLC and will be in good condition. It has only one speed, (no gears) so that makes it less appealing I guess. It has been stored indoors and really only needs some cleaning, the tires need to be pumped up too. Thanks for the replies.
