Ok. so i'm in Reno on vacation this past week.. decide to hang out at Harrahs and there is a free concert there by John Waite formerly of the group the Babys.
he can still rock with the best of them.. i was quite impressed. His band sounded good too.
Well to make a short story longer.. ha ha
I took in a magic show while there called Wonderland. That was fun.. classic rock music mixed with illusions and some dance too.
ANyway, after the magic show me and my friends check out this new venue at Harrahs called The Virg. well after several free drinks and free food.. in walks John Waite. and he's standing like 6 feet from me!!
I've never been much of a fan... but sometimes it's cool to be standing that close to a has been muscian.
I didn't have my camera.. so i didn't get a picture.. but i did get his autograph. for whatever that's worth?
