I have connected my polk front speakers through the sub as
opposed to using the pre-out jack. Is this the best set-up?Also
it says so select no sub on my receiver setup?Any feed back would be great.

Many think that is the best way to hook up your system.....on your receiver set mains to large and sub to off or no.

If you like it, than that's the way to do it. No?

I have to disagree with the "Polk way." I used to have mine setup that way til Dr. Spec enlightened me. With just your fronts hooked up, pop in your favorite CD and crank it up a little. Now, on your receiver, switch back and forth between large and small. Which way does the midrange sound better to you? Decide for yourself.
