Let me give you a little back ground. I'm in the process of finishing off my dedicated home theatre room (12' x 21'). I already have almost all of my equipment (except speakers):

Studio Experience HD1 projector
Denon 2803
Panasonic XP30
Polk Audio CSi40 center
Polk Audio SDA 2B speakers

I just went to CC, because I heard about all the killer clearance deals from this forum. I was able to get the last 4 black rti 6 speakers for $395 total ($92 each). I was orginally planning on having the following HT setup:

Polk Audio SDA 2B speakers (as my mains)
Polk Audio CSi40 center
Polk Audio FXi5 (side speakers) (waiting on a good price)
Polk Rti 6 (rear speakers)

Well of course while I was there I noticed they had the Rti 8s for $220 each and the Rti 10s for $202 each. So I started listening to them......big mistake. I must have sat in there for an hour having the guy play Pirates of the Caribbean and switching back and forth between the Rti 8 and the Rti 10. Man, I would have never guessed they could sound so different. The Rti 8s seemed to be way more open and the mids and highs sounded clear. The Rti 10s seemed to have a much more full\bass sound, but they lacked clear highs and mids. I must have had him flip back and for atleast 30 times. I keep asking him if they were configured differently and he said no. He also notice the dramatic difference between the 2. In the end, the killer price got the best of me and I purchased the Rti 8s. I think you can see I have a couple issues:

1) Did I make the right choice getting the Rti 8s over the Rti 10s?
I like the fullness of the Rti 10s, but they lacked good mids and highs. The Rti 10 is a much more expensive speaker retail, but it was $36 cheaper.

2) Have I lost my mind and should I have stuck with my original plan (using my SDAs as the mains)? Now I have the CSi40 that isn't timber matched to the Rti series and I also have my SDAs out of the picture. Is this a huge mistake (Rti 8s vs SDA 2Bs)?
If I now go the Rti route, I'm going to need to sell off my CSi40 and get the CSi5.

90% of the time I will be using this theatre for movies and watching concert dvds. I know I asked this before, but will the SDA 2Bs be better than the Rti 8s for home theatre use? I've haven't picked up the Rti 8s yet because they wouldn't fit in my car. :) So, I can simply call CC and cancel them and credit my credit card. Any help on this would be truely appreciated!! I'm kinda stressed out, because I'm wondering if I didn't get a little crazy on this purchase. I couldn't help but think....man, for $875 I got a pair of Rti 8s and 2 pair of the Rti 6s for such a killer deal. Also, the other pair for Rti 6s will be used in another room for music. Thanks in advance for any help.
