i hear a lot about the MM12's being very sensitive to the power others have been puting to them...is this true or is it most likely that they didn't break in the subwoofer properly? I just bought a Rockford Fosgate Power 551S 2-channel amp. Did I make a wise choice or otherwise more on the safe side?

    definitely keep the gains down!

That amp is rated at 550x1 but is prolly closer to 600. Polk speakers and subs dont seem to take to kindly to overpowering so take it easy.
