When i watch tv, there is a low humming noise that comes through all the speakers. ive been told that a ground loop isolator will solve this problem.
anybody if this is true, or another method?

Disconnect all video sources, TV, VCR, Cable, Sat Dish, DVD, etc.
Start adding them back, one by one - and Bingo was his name-o.
Partsexpress has a VERY affordable Ground Loop Isolator, and I believe Polk even sells one also, at the top of the page here.

We are talking about a ground loop isolator, not a ground cheater plug.

Whether an isolator or so called cheater plug, so long as they both get rid of the annoying hum and you don't go broke buying one, that's all that matters.Marantz AV-7705 PrePro, Classé 5 channel 200wpc Amp, Oppo 103 BluRay, Rotel RCD-1072 CDP, Sony XBR-49X800E TV, Polk S60 Main Speakers, Polk ES30 Center Channel, Polk S15 Surround Speakers SVS SB12-NSD x2
