Polk & Def Tech?

I was just reading this review over at Audiorevolution.com, and it mentions Sandy Gross. It says he helped launch the Polk & Def Tech brands. Has anyone heard of Sandy Gross before? What was his involment with Polk? Does Polk & Def Tech have any ties currently?

Just curious here, fishing for info....

    Thanks Paul, just what I was looking for.

    I'll understand if you can't answer this, but has Polk and Def Tech (or any other brand, for that matter) ever colaborated, or joined forces or anything like that?
