Bragging about my purchases
I am sorry to brag, but no one else understands how much I enjoy new purchases besides fellow Polksters.
Tuesday I picked up a set of KEF Cradenza's. The cabinets are pretty beat up, but the drivers look OK. The lady gave them to me for free because she didn't realize how beat up they were. I haven't had a chance to listen, but it should be fun to play with.
I also picked up a pair of RT55i's in excellent condition for $200.00. I haven't had a chance to hook them up yet.
Today, I went by CC in Springfield VA and bought a beautiful RM6500 set with subwoofer for $70.00. The salesmen couldn't believe the price and was kind of upset when I showed him the sign reading 10% off all open box.
What a fun week, but now I am swimming in Polk speakers again.

how much the original price for RM6500 set with subwoofer? It seems that I'd better check with my local CC this weekend tho there not much hope... -
The 6500 was from a few years ago. I was replaced by the 6600 the the 6700. I don't know where they came from, but they look brand new.
