hearing aids and es 60

Hi, Anybody using hearing aids and polk ES60 and ES30 and ES15 with sub?I did a ai with this system and said it not good to go with.It tells me to go klipsch rp600 and svs prime center with my hearing loss of the highs but I like polk since the 80's I had the rta15tl's then got rtia7,csia6,rtia1 with sub who remembers anyways after got a soundbar to make the wife happy but couldn't hear dialogue then got hearing aids and soundbar was terible for bouncing off the walls and dialog.My room is 19 x 12.5 ft but using the long wall for tv and sofa so it 12 x 12.5 ft with open space of 5 ft so wanted to know if the ES60(used 850.00 Canadian) would be good for this setup or better going with ES30 for main with a onkyo or Pioneer vsx lx305 or onkyo nr 7100 to have dirac live or what you suggest to do thanks

    I have a pair of the Klipsch RP-500M. Excellent bookshelf speakers, and especially so for the price since the version II came out. If you do get the RP-600M or RP-600M II I would recommend getting a matching Klipsch center channel speaker. That is the more important speaker for dialogue with hearing aids or without. You can bump the sound level up a bit for the center channel manually if you need to. Take a look at the Klipsch RP-504C or RP-504C II. The smaller version is the RP-404C.

    For what you're doing I don't see the benefit of going with the Polk ES series other than maybe brand loyalty. The RP600M are well balanced and easy to drive with just about any receiver because they are an efficient design.

    AI is probably suggesting the Klipsch line because of online chatter about Klipsch speakers being "brighter" than Polks. I have found that to be true with some of their older heritage speaker lines, but not the RP lineup.

    Yep, coming to market in October. They made some refinements to the tweeter surround from the version II.

    If you can stretch the budget to get a pair of Polk Reserve R200 bookshelf speakers and an R400 center speaker they would overall outperform what you have been looking at. They're not on discount right now and they are more expensive.

    They are not as efficient a design as the Klipsch RP series speakers so not as easy to drive with a receiver, so may be some hidden extra cost there depending on what you already have. Some may not like the appearance of the vinyl wrap cabinets. Recommend you focus on getting the center speaker that best works for you and then get a matching set of main speakers.
