    In my mind he is to be commended for not selling out. In the end it would have just been a shadow of itself after whoever raped it for all the money they could suck out of it before they sold the name to a Chinese company.

    This is the type of thing that starts to make ME feel old....lol. Well deserved for sure. I'm glad I took many peoples advice here (especially F1) some 18-20 odd years ago. I plunked down my hard earned money (more than I ever spent on cables) on a full set of Terminator 2's (speakers and 3 sets of I/C's)

    I was a skeptic.............but now I don't use anything but MIT with few exceptions being Signal Cable.

    Happy Retirement and the legacy of MIT will live on....

    I have some MIT Shotgun MA's I was going to put on the Flea Market.....may be I'll keep them. It took me 6 months to find 2 pairs or S1's and Bi-Wire S1 speaker cables. I went from S3 to S1.

    There are a fair amount of Shotgun series FS these days, but people are nuts at their asking prices. The want full retail or above for a 15year old cable. That's why they are still for sale......lol

    There are some that are reasonably priced, but I saw what you're talking about.

    Some of those high priced sales have been FS for over a year. The best ones are the sellers who went to an estate sale picked them up, not even knowing what they are. Posted terrible pics, with little to no description and ask over retail.

    I was able to buy NIB AVt3 and EXp1 speaker cables. I've seen Shotgun series NIB, not often, but once in awhile.

    After the Legends broke in properly, I have not thought about my 1.2TL's even once. The imaging and soundstage in my listening space is breathtaking. It can be an intimate private concert or it can become Albert Hall. The problem I was facing was that the TL's were simply too much speaker for the room... way too much. The addition of the Mcintosh C2800 and Shunyata Hydra/Typhon have taken things to a place where I can't even tell you when the last time I actively looked at changing something.

    I simply answered your post. I have no regrets moving on from the 1.2TL's for my needs. Earlier, I made a reference to the BS we have in this country about pronouns... it was a joke. Sometimes humor is seen differently across cultures and what is funny here may not be seen that way across borders. I have no doubt your vocabulary is just fine for your locale, but it may not translate to mine as well. No worries... Jesse does deserve an apology as well, however. I think it not such a bad idea for everyone to take a step back and consider that geography does indeed play a part in how the English language is perceived.
