Image Dynamics make some of the best subs on the market. They have everything from 175 watt 8's to 1000 watt 12's. I consider them to be right in the middle of the SQ/SPL pack. They pack a mean punch but also sound pretty good. Ive not heard many out here in Tennessee but they were readily available back in Texas and the ones I got to listen to were pretty awesome.
Also youll be hard pressed to find a bad review of them in any publication, and thats usually a good sign!polkaudio sound quality competitor since 2005

IDQ are more of a SQ oriented sub......It's a nice budget SQL sub, but I'd look else where if your interested in SPL numbers......Testing

Thats true. If youre wanting more SPL than SQ then look to the Orion H2. Its won more DB Drags than you can shake a stick at but they are high quality enough that they still sound quite good musically! You will pay a premium for it though.polkaudio sound quality competitor since 2005
