B&K ST 125.2 S2 Replacement Speaker Teraminals???

Options
i'm looking at a local offer on this amp that is in great condition except for a speaker terminal that has the plastic receptacle part broken off. There is no internal damage and the amp works fine when the speaker cable is held in place, it just can’t secure the cable due to the plastic part being missing.

Is there anything special about the terminals on this amp? The reason I ask is because the offer posting does include replacement terminal jacks that are just standard jacks. But in my conversation with the seller he did say the tech who checked it out said jacks he purchased for it wouldn't work.

I’ve changed out speaker terminals on several older amps/receivers to banana style with no issues and wasn’t aware of incompatibility issues other than available space.

Hoping someone here could offer insight into the proper replacement part for this amp?. I don't want to buy and find out it can only take a proprietary part that is no longer available.

Thank you in advance!!!

Sometimes it requires a little ingenuity, but there's always a way to swap stock binding posts for different ones.

I could not find a good pic of that amplifier's internals. Sometimes the binding posts are soldered directly to a PCB, which may be the case here. Regardless, there are work arounds. I've done it more than once.

    Best pic I found.

I forget if ATI is still in business but I bought some parts from them to fix a dead channel in my B&K 200.5 years back as they bought the company.

I know B&K relaunched in the last few years so it’s possible they don’t own the brand anymore but can’t hurt to ask.
