Living with the AV10

The Marantz has been in my rack for just under a week so far. For 2ch, the top of the chain is an Emotiva ERC-3 CDP, Mogami AES cable to a Denafrips Venus 15th DAC, then AQ Yukon XLR's to the analogue path of the AV10.
2ch has gotten a phenomenal upgrade since the DAC but now with the arrival of the Marantz, it has gotten another shot in the arm.
Using pure direct mode of the AV10, how can I relate this......there is more space around the tiny details in the music, if that makes sense.
The 8802A did a great job before but the new processor brings out even more separation in the music.
