Looking once again to get a Polkfest going on the West Coast. If there is interest, we can get a HUGE Estate home on Big Bear Lake waterfront for a weekend or a week. Looking at late September. Once I have an idea as to how many may want to be there, I will look into properties. One I found has the cost of 5 nites coming to about 400 bucks plus food and drink. Three nites would be about 250...

Troy talked about having one last year in SC, but very few people responded and it didn't happen. -
It seems like the forum has long been bereft of interest in these types of things. Don't know if it's a CV19 hangover or what, but it definitely exists. 2008 was a looonnnggg time ago, wasn't it.
So, are you willing to put forth a little effort or are you happy sitting in your skeptical poo pile?

^^^interest? there’s nobody here anymore this place is dead. Many people were disenfranchised or alienated.
Or just plain old gave up.

Yeah, very true; more than a few have moved on (sadly, some with a capital M.O.), and there were a few who were simply shown the door and pushed through it.
Place has gone downhill since 2014, IMHO.So, are you willing to put forth a little effort or are you happy sitting in your skeptical poo pile?
