I've Dreamed of Owning one of these since they were Current. Back in 2016 i settled on it's Step Down model, the BDP-05FD,
since it was Affordable to me at the time, while the 09FD was still a bit out of my general Reach.
Here in 2026, however, the Amazingly-Overbuilt BDP-09FD has at last Depreciated in Second Market Value
to the point that my Decade-plus old Dream has Finally been Achieved...

That’s how ya do it when your audiophile budget exceeds your wallet.
If you are not one of those people who MUST have the latest and greatest gear, then ya simply wait until the prices come down and pull the trigger!

Would be cool if you ended up with Ray's, at least you know it was taken care of, plus I think he ended up doing work on his as well..

Looks like Pt1 and Pt2 are gone. Gotta love this place at times..
