Best cleaning solution? (I know not armor-all)

OK, I picked up some Phase Linear stuff from Rocky this weekend (Thanks again) and need to go through things to clean them up.

I know canned air will be used to clean out some dust buildup, but what's the best stuff to use to clean off the external surfaces? Any ideas?

    Quik Detailer -- Carnuba base... just make sure you spray it on a RAG and not the equipment...

    Kinda like waxing your car --

    I already mentioned this in the other thread but in case it gets buried, the user manuals for the Phase Linear gear say to use full strength ammonia and a soft cloth on the brushed aluminum faces. Haven't tried it yet myself though, but it's supposed to get all the built-up gunk off.

    Just offering my advice, picked that one up from Steveinaz -- works real well.

    I use "Endust for Electronics". It has never harmed anything, works fairly quickly and if you have small marks you can spray it on a paper towel and buff until the mark is gone. Unlike wax it is anti-static and leaves no deposits. You can by it in a 4oz spray bottle or cleaning pads. Sears is where I pick it up at.

    Here is he deal, drink 6er of brewskies (12 is better) and piss on them,,,Thats a perfect mixture of ammonia, water and brewskies. Wipe down with cloth, wash hands and enjoy!!!!

    Windex has worked very well for me. As with any cleaner, be careful when rubbing the lettering.

    'Bar Keepers Friend' works GREAT on brushed metal / stainless / chrome surfaces. If it has any 'yellowing', it'll nuke it.

    Comes as a powder, in a comet / ajax style can. Find it at your local grocer in the cleaning dept, metal cleaning section.
