Just doing some housekeeping.
The Dallas Audio Club is still going strong.
Apparently I forgot to keep adding to the meeting announcements the past couple of times.
For those interested in meeting up, message me to get started with vetting and getting involved.

Mezzo CS I believe, without the carbon fiber 3d printed back plate. Very large. I think any larger and that's the Wilson Polaris which is humongous.
I enjoyed Jem's system. I was also impressed at the dual JL Fathoms. I didn't think they could pressurize the room like that.
I brought ear plugs this time around... the owner has no fear. No fear of blowing drivers that is.

Did visitors have to sign a legal waiver for potential hearing damage?
+120dB is a bit loud at the threshold of pain and +122.1db is quite a bit louder still.

At the risk of sounding eccentric, a theater that size would seem to be somewhat “under-subbed” with just the two JL Audio Fathom subs. I have experience with the Fathom, and as impressive as it is, theater bass is about moving air - lots of air. That said, given the choice, I would choose the two small JL subs over larger ported models, even in a home theater - I prefer the tighter response of a sealed sub, even if it forces you to go bigger (size and/or quantity) for HT use. Given the apparent lack of financial constraints in that particular home theater, a pair (or even four) Gothams would be something to behold;-)“Human beings are born with different capacities. The racing scenes in F1: The Movie would be a great experience in that home theater.
