Hello Polk Family

Hey y'all, it's been a minute. I hope everyone is well. Got rid of last GF and "hired" a new one lol and back to work part time at Costco......I've been a little busy :)

I am retired from the post office now three years (there about) after a 37.9 year career, it's good to be working again but was down from that last knee surgery that went bad, all is "pretty" well now.

The extra income will get me into a new center to accommodate my Kanta mains, swung a deal on a Sopra center, yes, I'll compromise tonal difference to a small'ish degree but the upgrade from the LSiM 706 will be welcomed.

I hope everyone has a very merry Christmas and congrats to @audioluvr on your upcoming retirement!!!

And remember, play your music responsibly and to all, a very merry audio/video experience!!!

    Hey Geoff,
Glad to see you around. Boy, you sure do rotate through the GFs. I don't know how you do it. I suppose if the latest one does keep you feeling young for the next 35 years, that's a good thing. Merry Christmas brother.

Everyone should upgrade girlfriends as often as a new vehicle.

Everything’s bigger in TX, including the GF drama apparently 😆

Nice you're here again. Where do you "hire a GF" (not an hourly thing)? Asking for a friend. :) Merry Christmas Geoff!

Lol I'll tell you, my dad has seen my "rotation" of gf's since I've been home over these last four years. I took this new one, Lori to meet my dad and we were having dinner there, Lori says to my dad, Yes sir, I'm Geoff's final upgrade. He looked her and smiled as he said, Good luck. I thought I was going to die :D
@aprazer402 yeah, I'm a victim of on line dating, picking through the weeds trying to find that special flower is a tough one. It's like finding a truck on line, you look for a body style you like, you check the milage and special features, you hope it's not too expensive, the only thing is the "truck" has to like you too :D

Good analogy, but the truck doesn't care one way or another about you. Lori does or hopefully will. Best of luck. At least you're out there trying! :)

Using the truck analogy, I would never want to drive a dually.

Make sure it doesn’t have a blown head gasket or a hemi tick…..

I've always wanted a female living with me. I had plenty of girlfriends myself, but moving or just quick date nights and stuff brought me to around age 31.

I bought a house at that age and thought...now find a girl who should be a friend and homemaker, and I did. Been married for over 30 years and saw both our parents cross over. I'm glad she was beside me for my parents passings.

I'll kiss her at midnight on New Year's Eve in a few days, like every year before. ;)<3

Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

That's awesome brother! You found Mrs. Right! I was married for 22 years to the wrong person, then 7 to the one that I thought would last a lifetime......now, I take my time waiting to see if my Mrs. Right will come along!
