Seems like every 5-10 years, the use of each setup changes dramatically from the original intention. I’ve realized that several of my setups don't make sense for me anymore, so time to move along:
Peachtree Nova220SE - $675 shipped CONUS, $625 LOCAL PICKUP
Currently using this for my vinyl setup. You are correct, this amp does NOT have a phono section. I have a Brown Audio preamp plugged in for this purpose. This means that I’m using the Nova as nothing more than an amplifier for the 2-3 times/year I spin vinyl in the den. I added a BluDento BLT-HD Bluetooth receiver a couple years ago hoping that we would use this setup more often, but it just never happened. The BluDento is included in the listed price.
I purchased this Nova new as an upgrade to my Nova 150, and one of the newer Nova’s with a phono section is on my short list to replace it. The Nova 220SE works like new, I couldn’t find any scratches (although I’m sure there are a few if you catch the right light) or dings, includes the working remote, and will be shipped in its original box w/ the BluDento mentioned above.
Here's a link to the Nova 220SE page, including all specs and info.
Peachtree is selling these as refurbished on their eBay store for $765 w/ 30 day returns & 1 year warranty. I don’t offer either.
Definitive Technology UIW RLS II Speakers (PAIR) - $525 shipped CONUS, $450 LOCAL PICKUP
Purchased and installed these when we moved into the current house, circa 2017. They sounded great when I had an Anthem AVR, but that AVR **** the bed and I replaced it with a budget Denon since we didn’t really spend any time watching TV. In retrospect, the budget Denon made the TV location even less interesting and we have recently transitioned the area to more usable space. Summary: these speakers are incredible as long as you match them with a decent AVR.
Functionality: Perfect working order
Cosmetically: The speaker fronts (visible side when installed, bezel and grill) have no visible defects. The painters added a nice stripe along the “in-wall” sides of one speaker when they were half-pulled (no extra charge). There are a few expected scuffs from the in-wall installation and removal. No damage to the actual speaker box. All mounting clamps are present and good working order. They remain in factory white, ready to be painted if/as you wish.
Packaging: I do not have original packaging or mounting template. However, I recently received a box (new hitch bike rack) that appeared to fit the bill and will make these available for shipping. They are currently securely boxed up and ready to go.
Other details: Cutout dimensions are 7”W x 28 ½”H x 3 7/8”D. Here is a link to more information. Not to be confused with the smaller RLS III speaker, although that appears to be more readily available at a significantly cheaper price if you are looking to “match” a center to these.

Here’s a turntable that I picked up 10 years ago (3/2015) from The Sound Gallery in Austin – a space that has since transitioned into a likely more profitable doggy day care center. Although I probably overpaid for it at the time, the Pioneer checked my search criteria: Japanese-made, great vintage condition without a cracked dustcover, completely cleaned and updated to be perfectly operational.
Besides bringing this turntable out for a photo session and to make sure it functions as advertised, it has spent most of its life in the keepsake dungeon (i.e. guest room closet). Why? Well, kids. When my first kid started crawling (probably early 2016) I added a less desirable Thorens to my collection to endure the inevitable button pushing and potential destruction. Nothing has really changed at my house.
This turntable is matched with the Shure 97X cartridge. Not an exceptionally regarded cartridge, but always seemed well-matched for my listening style and setup.
The turntable itself remains in great, clean condition and has no functional issues. While I have packed and shipped turntables in the past, I really don’t want to do it again. If you’re coming across this listing 5-6 years from original post date and it still hasn’t sold, I might be willing to consider if I can still find it in the keepsake dungeon.
All items located in Houston TX area (Sugar Land). Always willing to attempt a meetup as we travel around the state for various reasons.
